On Saturday 3rd June 2023 we held a field day on the Dartmoor National Park at CoxTor.
The weather was perfect (sun tan lotion and hats definately required), and the radio was excellent.
We ran two radios, one off battery power for the whole day and the other using the generator, well, until it decided it didn’t want to work any more. It was quite fun watching the ouput voltage slowly drop to 0Volts ! Then we switched to battery power and carried on without the Linear Amp. Perhaps this is the way forward…
Many thanks to everyone who helped make the day a great success. Some of you may also notice (in the pictures) that we forgot to take a table. Luckily we had plenty of spare chairs.
One of the contacts we had was with John, G0DTX who recorded the contact for posting on his YouTube channel.
