Dartmoor Radio Club held a field day at Cox Tor (map) on Tuesday 24th July. The weather was superb and everyone had a great day playing radio out on Dartmoor. Many thanks to Chris from The Trent Valley who emailed in the following report. “Heard GX1RCD @ 11:09bst today 5&9++ with 140m loop into a AOR AR7030 on 7120 with no preamp bit of QSB down to S6 but perfectly readable”
